Birthday Bash
John Linder never expected to be a best-selling author by his 63rd birthday.
On Friday, the congressman from Duluth and his writing partner, radio personality Neal Boortz, are scheduled to attend a party to celebrate both the book and the birthday.
Linder’s and Boortz’s “The FairTax Book” has topped the New York Times and amazon.com best-seller lists.
The party is at the Duluth home of political operative Mark Rountree, who owns Landmark Communications.
Rountree and his wife Angela are hosting the celebration along with Sen. David Shafer and his wife Lee, road builder John D. Stephens and his wife Beverly, David and Kim Hanna, Allan and Deborah Hayes and Robert and Cindy Varga.
